PRECAST MODULAR BUILDING TECHNOLOGY

Building better.
Building the future.

Lodestar manufactures structural precast units off site, delivers them in sequence and connects them into durable, architecturally flexible buildings.

Manufacture

Produce repeatable structure in controlled conditions.

Advance

Move site preparation forward in parallel.

Connect

Place, stack and join units in sequence.

Complete

Finish with project-specific architecture.

STRUCTURE / 01

Connected precast units create the primary structural platform before the enclosure, services and finishes are added.

THE SYSTEM IN ONE MOVE

Precast concrete.
Fast and efficient construction.

Lodestar combines reinforced precast concrete with off-site manufacturing and modular connection. The structural logic repeats; the final building does not have to.

Walls, openings, services, finishes and hybrid components are coordinated around the project—not locked into one prefab appearance.

WHY LODESTAR

Faster construction.
Fewer on-site resources.
Lasting performance.

Less structural work concentrated on site. More decisions made before delivery. A durable system that still leaves room for architecture.

01 — Less structural work on site

CONTROLLED OFF-SITE PRODUCTION

Structural production moves into controlled manufacturing while foundations and site work can advance in parallel, reducing the amount of work and uncertainty concentrated at the job site.

02 — Close-to-zero manufacturing waste

PRECISION + REPEATABILITY

Planned molds, repeatable assemblies and controlled quantities sharply reduce the offcuts, packaging and excess associated with conventional site fabrication—supporting Lodestar’s close-to-zero manufacturing-waste objective.

03 — Less activity on site

FEWER SEQUENTIAL TRADES

More of the structural and envelope work is organized before components arrive. That can reduce prolonged site labour, material handling, temporary storage and neighbourhood disruption.

04 — Controlled quality

YEAR-ROUND MANUFACTURING

Components are produced through repeatable factory processes rather than relying entirely on changing weather and site conditions. Inspections and embedded details can be planned before delivery.

PRECAST CONCRETE PERFORMANCE

Reinforced precast concrete provides a resilient structural starting point intended for long service life, while engineered assemblies coordinate the path from frame to enclosure.

06 — Architectural freedom

ONE SYSTEM / MANY EXPRESSIONS

Custom openings, reveals, textures, façades and form liners allow the building to respond to its program and context. The structural system repeats; the architecture does not have to.

HOW IT COMES TOGETHER

Off-site production.
On-site assembly.

Six coordinated stages connect project design, controlled manufacturing, site preparation, delivery, placement and a finished building.

Architectural design for a Lodestar multi-unit building

01 — Design

Plan around the system

Architects and project teams define the program, layout, exterior expression and the right mix of Lodestar modules, conventional infill and site-built components.

02 — Manufacture

Build in controlled conditions

Precast concrete structural units are manufactured year-round in a climate-controlled environment with repeatable processes and quality inspections.

03 — Prepare

Advance site work in parallel

Foundation and site preparation can progress while structural units are being manufactured, reducing the sequential dependencies of conventional construction.

04 — Deliver

Coordinate the right sequence

Units are transported to site in an installation sequence planned around access, staging, lifting strategy and the project schedule.

05 — Connect

Place, stack and join

Modules are positioned and connected horizontally or vertically to create larger floor plates, multiple levels and flexible configurations.

06 — Complete

Enclose and finish

The structural system accepts varied exterior building systems, interior finishes and hybrid construction—so the final architecture is not limited to one visual language.

ARCHITECTURAL FLEXIBILITY

The structure repeats.
The architecture does not.

Custom openings, façades, reveals, textures and form liners let each project respond to its program and place.

01 / PROJECT + DESIGN

Use Lodestar on a project.

For developers, architects, municipalities, contractors, housing organizations and institutional teams evaluating a better structural delivery path.

02 / MANUFACTURING + LICENSING

Bring Lodestar to your market.

For qualified precast manufacturers and regional partners exploring technology licensing, production integration and local delivery.

START WITH THE PROJECT

Built for what’s next.

Share the site, program, location and delivery constraint. Lodestar can help determine whether the system deserves a closer look.
